A single symbol, turned wrong-way to, can undo their bearings and leave them without orientation. One biased and undependable Source can wreak havoc with the entire voyage and leave them adrift in uncharted waters, with no means of communicating with the Lande, and wholly unconnected with Realitye.

Thus, the Goode Rapaire, who on our behalfe has sailed into those Oceanes, and Faced those Dangers, and taken those mighty Riskes, and to them has been Loste.
