Sorcha, I worked in a theatre when I was teenager. For 3 or 4 Saturdays in a row-A well dressed man in his 60's would come for Sat. matinees. (Martin & Lewis & cartoons) About the 2nd week - I asked the doorman to check. He wouldn't & I as the cashier -couldn't leave to check on him.

The Projectionist decided to check. He had his jacket & hat in his lap-a little girl on each side. While nothing was seen-he was asked to leave, refunded his money & told not to come back. He never said a word. I knew the man from church--always at the communion rail. Pillar of the community!

The man didn't do the lost puppy routine.
