Well - first of all, you didn't say in your initial post anything that indicated kidnapping, as far as I can see. You also said there were two girls. Now it sounds like there was just one. You did not say anything about this guy "putting her out" - and what do you mean by that - "rendered her unconscious"? How? And how did this allow him to save his "sorry ass"? What happened to this girl or girls after the projectionist rescued her or them, if that's what he did? What did they or she say about what had happened or not happened?

From all you said in your post, they or she could have been his grand-daughters or grand-daughter dropped off in the theatre to watch the movie with him, and maybe that's all that happened.

So - do you want to start over and tell the WHOLE story - and iron out the inconsistencies?
