Becca72, I've seen Stephen Fry in the last couple of episodes of 'Bones' showing here. He plays a psychiatrist, with a lah-di-dah English accent.

I'v wondered if English actors 'make it' just by talent, as so few of them are very handsome. There are actors everywhere who use this system, of course, but a lot of Hollywood 'stars' have never seemed convincing to me.

The guy who played the butler in 'Magnum P.I.'(remember that?) had a convincing English accent, but some of his phrasing and pronunciation let him down, to my ear.
