I do two things now Tom

I open the Yahoo e-mail on the internet (webmail)
I then open the yahoogroups (folkclubs)

I read the e-mails and delete them.

I then rely on the group part if I want to go back to an old post.

I minimise both windows on the taskbar when not in use.
