I remember trying to get my parents to take me there, but they said it was too far. We had such great times at the 1964-65 NY Worlds Fair that I wanted to experience it again.   My memories of the NY Fair are very rich - it made a HUGE impression on me.

There is something about events like World's Fairs that stay with people.
