Oh, and isn't the "Man and His World" exhibit still up and running?

Man & His World shut down some time in the 1970s. The only thing that's still happening is the La Ronde amusement park. But it's now owned by the Six Flags corporation.

The former French Pavillion is now the Montreal Casino. The old Expo grounds are now a park.

I was 13 and 14 during Expo and every visit was fabulous. It really opened my eyes on to the world beyond my own life. I also got to hear some great music.
