Well, I dropped in again & joined a whole bunch of groups/pubs. I'll figure out if that was a smart move, down the road.
I added another 512Mbs to my memory, which coincidentally takes me up to 768 which you need to listen to the music, popped in the GeForce FX 5500 video card, all at a cost of around $160+ and that's just to get me in the door.
The benefits of upgrading the computer, however, make it excusable.
Now I will be trying to negotiate my way around but I am left to wonder just how beneficial this could be to a folk singer when most of my audience is still working with steam!
