There's an East Midlands??!

In my experience, the library may take your books but they are most likely to end up for sale rather than on the shelves for lending. That way the library gets the revenue at no extra cost to them and don't have to worry about cataloguing and preparing your books.

I'd be more tempted to offer them on Ebay - if anyone should get the money, it should be you!
