Dear Val,

I cannot imagine the heartache you and Pete's family are going through. Pete was a wonderful man with an excellent sense of humour.

Just thinking of our christmas party and what he did to me over the table makes me smile (although still a bit embarrassed)!

I think of all the things that you and Pete to help us and i am truely grateful. I wish in some way i could repay you both but i am not sure what i could do to help except be a friend in a time of need.
