Tyke's story is pretty harrowing but I can tell you that most families afflicted by CF are just the same as any other but with the knowledge that any slight cold or chest infection can be serious.

Most kids can live a reasonably healthy life thanks to the advances in science brought about in part by the CF Trust and the research they are able to fund. A breakthrough is so close now so any help is most gratefully received.

I want to try to ensure that my grandchildren can have their father around until long after they are grown up.
