Yeah, okay, I realize this a shot in the dark but...

...over the years I have had to deal with my share of asbestos related issues in old buildings and have usually just wrapped the old pipe insulation in plastic and taped it up real well so that the asbestos is confined but...

... in doing so there is alot of fine asbestos dust which is released and inspite of masks the stuff can be purdy scarey so...

... I've been wonderin' if I were to take a can of spray paint and hold it like 18 inches away from the asbestos and spray it whether or not the paint would kinda hold the dust down during the wrappin' part of the deal???

Yeah, that is my idea and my question...

Anyone know if this would work???
