That argument has never made sense and is easily countered by a thread count at any given point in time. The ratio of thread types has not changed and while it bothers some people, including me, the music threads are plentiful and the BS is not obtrusive. If you find it obtrusive, do not read it and do not post to it. Though I find it often immature, I have read some very creative and wonderful tavern threads. They are simply not anything I am comfortable with personally.

I also think that it has often been made very clear that the owner of this site enjoys the BS himself and we are likely to be the losers in a contest to have the BS quelched from this site. Just try yo go along and enjoy what you can. I set my filter many times to simply pull up lyr and help threads. I also trace my favorite threads. I am posting here anon, something I dislike, because of all the nastiness of late nad I don't want to be any more involved. I have seen many of your posts and believe you are a good man and I hate to see you become involved in a fight you cannot win. mw
