Thank you to all who posted here about my mom, and those of you who came to the memorial. It was a lovely event, very plain, plenty of food, some singing, just the way mom would have liked it. It was wonderful to hear stories, and memories. Great tidbits from old students of mom's, who spoke of learning so much , often about things other than music! Well, we did our best to conjur a bit of her spirit, and honor that. It felt great. Though I still miss her more than I could ever have imagined, I do what I can to keep her close.
