Fisher's was written by a German guy(actually spelt his name Fishar I believe) who lived in England. Harvest Home was popular in England. But of course, you can always argue that a tune written in England is in an Irisah style(or vice versa). It's all a very subjective thing, the "where do tunes come from" discussion.I think it reasonable to say that stucturally hornpipes were an importinto Ireland from Britain, but where any specific tune originated....God alone knows and he isn't telling.
