Summer Harp Concert Series:

The Alys and Seumas Show
Sunday, June 10th , 7:00 p.m., $15
Canadian harper Alys Howe and American harper Seumas Gagne present their first full-length performance of traditional Scottish Gaelic and Irish music. Both accomplished harpers, Alys and Seumas will perform Scottish and Irish dance music on the clarsach (traditional Celtic harp) as well as Scottish Gaelic love songs, work songs, and vocal dance music (puirt-a-beul.). Alys and Seumas will also present a workshop (Waulking Songs on the Harp) Sunday afternoon from 12:15-2:15. Call for more information or to register.

Two renowned Celtic Harpers and multi-instrumentalists join forces to create a breathtaking musical experience. Lisa Lynne is a Windam Hill recording artist who has sold over half a million albums of her enchanting instrumental compositions. Aryeh Frankfurter has been delighting audiences around the globe with his evocative approach to time honored Celtic and Nordic repertoire. Together they bring a unique blend of traditional folk and contemporary music with Celtic Harps, mandolins, bouzouki, viola and Nyckelharpa, a rare traditional Swedish folk instrument that is both keyed and bowed, dating back 600 years. You will be delighted and inspired by this heartwarming combination of extraordinary talents and timeless instrumentation. Summer UkeFest VI Concert

Giggle not! This is some serious uke playing. These virtuoso artisans of the ukulele are part of our Summer Ukefest VI, which includes workshops all day Saturday and Sunday. Come see fingers fly and hear the blues, ragtime, jazz, and old time music played by master musicians who make this little instrument sing its heart out. Bring your friends for this memorable, jaw-dropping, once-a-year event.
