Two come to mind - or partly to mind since I ahve drink taken!

One has a chorus

I don't know much of that one.

The other starts

"Riding on a southbound train

Salty tears are in my eyes

Trying to read a letter from my home

If this train runs right

I'll be home on Monday night

And I'm five (or nine, heard both) miles from my home

And I hate to hear that lonesome whistle moan "

Is that it? If I think really hard I might remember most of the rest of it. It came from a book I had at school, but I think the publishers went bust, and my stepson "borrowed" the book and that was that.
