And at the end of the evening I realise that I should have practised tonight for hymn practice tomorrow as the pianist won't be there. The school has purchased a set of CD's for our hymn books, but some of the pieces are recorded as if for use by a peculiarly dreary sect of pleasure loathers - at a tempo slightly slower than singable. Or slightly to high to sing. Or both. "The Family of Man" is particularly larynx constricting. Very strange. So I'm going to torture my non-recalloused fingers.Penny
