Ya know Steve's suggestion REALLY works! If I had my instruments in their cases, where they SHOULD be kept, I'd probably play 1/3 of the time. Having them hanging on the downstairs wall and always visible keeps me in the mood for playing. The only ones that don't get a regular workout are the bodrhan (divorce city), the piano accordion (cause I'm lousy...and she knows it) and the washboard (that's even noisier than the other two). The guitars, banjos, mandolins, dobro piano and dulcimer gotta get played though or their feelings get hurt.
