Tender Mercies was just wonderful, and yes, it does make me cry too. I agree that anything with Robert Duvall is usually worth the time....I particularly liked The Apostle (I think that is what it was called -- he played an evangelical Christian minister........) -- a truly wonderful film that I thought would garner all kinds of awards etc but didn't really have much impact......
