Well what a cracking night. Apparently Oxford was the only venue to offer the multi-media presentation which is a shame for although Bára has a beautiful voice (that seems to have no limit in how high it goes!), the pictures were really helpful in understanding the narrative, after all we had idea what she was singing!

Some interesting musical instruments to be heard and it was a delight to hear Chris playing guitar again - so sad that he is not better known. There was some good support, notably by local girl Su Jordan who accompanied herself on double bass - beautiful singing and some bold and interesting interpretations of traditional songs. I hope she makes many more trips to the club.
