Yeah, and Linux Lovers are smarter. Only the city hath decreed that we shall use Windows, but I hath snuck a Linux machine into the Library because our next automation system might well be Linux-based.

Yesterday I dealt with a suicidal squirrel, helped unload nearly 900 pounds of steel shelving from a truck, had the library without power (see squirrel, above), and a bunch of other things too numerous to mention.

AND one of my staff was nominated for a national award! By a patron! If she wins she gets US $2,500 and the Library get $250! Just for her to be nominated is great! And quite seriously, no, I'm not just saying that, I think it's wonderful.
