Oops, we cross-posted, emjay. Good points, all! We do have a memorialpage, but certainly there could be something else, too. I really want to focus on honouring the Living, though, while they are here to enjoy it.

What I wanted to say was there must never be a requirement that there has to be an award given every year, and if two or more are deemed to be deserving in a year, they may all be given an award in that year.
Dates? Say nominations are accepted from Jan 1 to March 30 of a year, names posted for voting with biographical sketches, accomplishments, etc., and votes submitted (somehow), with winners to be announced by July 1?
