Thank you all sooo much, now I am starting to understand what I am meant to do. I thought I could simply insert the cd, bring up the song list and then drag selected songs onto the playlist. Apparently, I cannot do that, I must "rip" them first..yes ? Anyway, it makes sense in a way. Thanks again I will try that method. I am so dumb about these things, so I am grateful for the help.
