....and it is more blues or jazz than folk, but I don't know where else to ask. It was around for years as an "easy listening tune" and just as easily dismissed, until I heard some excellent female vocalist rendering it on an unknown radio station during a long late-night drive. The lyrics describe two beautiful young (black)lovers dancing together, and the words "africa blue" are in the refrain. Any takers?
