My Sensei is a humble person who thinks those things up. He was named long ago after an American confection, Sen-sen, so we call him Sensei Sen-sen. He is full of insights, although he gets a bit "whiff" since he doesn't often bathe. I have often heard someone say, "Ah! I sense sensible Sensei Sen-sen." Sensei will respond with another colon, such as "The redwood grows tall, but poison ivy is everywhere" or "What is the sound of three hands clapping?"
