Severn: Gary P. Nunn's song may be about London, but of course Nunn is a Texan. In essence, "London Homesick Blues" is a typical American good ol' boy's typical Country & Western lament that he isn't in typical good ol' western American country.

By "originated in the UK", I meant to ask whether there were/are any Country & Western songwriters who were/are British, since Gulliver had speculated about "UK country" music. I'm just not sure there is such a thing as UK country music. Someone enlighten me, please!
