Jimdarlin'...please don't speak to us in generalities. It's as if one of us said we wanted all Canadians to quite saying "eh?" at the end of each sentence! (Tongue firmly in cheek!)

You are preaching to the choir.

There are newscasters here, who list the number of dead from this horrible war and also list their names every night. AND, there are also newscasts which relate news from other countries, including Canada. Besides that many Americans get their news online these days where we have access to all kinds of other countries' news. My condolences on the further loss of Canadian lives and those of anyone else in Iraq. Each death diminishes humankind.

I would prefer to see huge demonstrations in the streets here, BUT I do think it would play right into the shrub's hands and bring about martial law that would make the 60's look tame. For now, we work within the system.
