Persisted down last night but this morning in Whitley Bay was warm and bright with a lovely breeze coming in over the sea. Started to cloud over now and more rain is expected later.

In June last year we holidayed just down the coast in Whitby and had the most glorious weather you could imagine all week. Last years Abram dance (end of June) was the same. This years was completed mainly undewater. Odd thing is that the Abram day of dance is generaly rained upon when we have visitors from Minnesota. Well, it has happened twice up to now so, just stay away yer buggers!
