White House insiders have spoken off the record to say that George Bush has received get well cards from a grateful nation and the odd 'bon voyage' or 'please write' from some people in California.

Richard Cheney was wetting his lips and not licking his chops at the prospect of being the acting-President. Insiders say that he's been doing the job for six years or so and at least this way he'll get paid for it.
