This reminds me of the weather experience that we had in Juneau last winter. Our normal snowfall is just over 100 inches, 103.something.

Our local much-beloved and uniquely talented musician/meterologist friend did NOT like snow. By choice he worked nights and one of his pet peeves was having to shovel out his driveway in the mornings before he could drive in.

Then on November 1 at the age of 56 he died, of sleep apnea. And on November 2 it started snowing and before it got stopped we had just a fraction of an inch less than 200 inches, a record for Juneau.

It was like he was saying, OK, you want snow? Here is your snow.
