Always liked the Crichlow version in Lomax, ABFS. The one in the DT is almost Crichlow's but the names Cisco Huston and Richard Dying Bennett appear at the bottom.

Now just who is this 'Huston' feller? Any relation to Walter?

It's been a time since I heard it, but I think Cisco Houston (yes, that's Houston) had a couple of different verses.

And no, I can't find a thread on the song, but I would be surprised if thjere isn't one.
