As a kid, I used to be good at late-night garden raiding... nip in, pull a few carrots, cukes, radishes, peas & beans, and nip out again. No damage, no noise, no evidence. If my noisy-ass cousin came with me, we had to leg it everytime to avoid the rock salt or guard dog.
