Why would they do that? There is a railroad siding full of tanker cars full of beer leading up to the Legion Hovel. Each car is fitted with external taps when it enters the refridgerated holding area for those who wish to drink Al Fresco (a local brew made in Humphrey, Idaho, which tastes like ammoniated horse urine but is to some people's poor taste).

In fact, you're not permitted to drink Al Fresco inside the Hovel as the fumes drive everyone out and the place in uninhabitable for days -- which speaks volumes for the stink of that beer.
