Thoroughly endorse the above Mark. Our community has a couple of nurses, who do as good a job at diagnosis and "patch-ups" as most doctors. Serious cases are flown to hospital on the mainland.In recent years they've had (among other things) three suicides to contend with - one slashed wrists, two heads blown off. It must be damned rough, having to attend to that sort of thing, when you know the people well.
