Donuel - I agree with everything you say here. I can't understand that there are still small investers out here who continue to think this is a level playing field.

                         I think it first became apparent to me when they decided to underwrite all of the uninsured Savings and Loan accounts through the FDIC. Those firms should simply have been allowed to collapse.

                         The hedge funds are a much bigger problem, and you're right, the poor people will be forced to bail them out again. With this kind of mindset, the wealthy can't lose, and the poor people have to win the lottery to win. Hard work and ingenuity has little value in post Reagan America.
