To me this was one of the best Dartmoor fests I can remember - from Friday night's marquee concert ( to hear one of folk's finest singers - Mary Humphries, followed immediately by another - Alison McMorland) right up until Sunday evening. I wish I could have stayed to the end.
The sessions were great, there was plenty of opportunity to sing (impromptu gatherings in the back rooms or the garden at the Oxenham, for instance) and as usual at this splendid festival there was a renewing of acquaintanceships with so many who return year after year.

Thank you South Zeal, and thank you Jane, Committee, and all the hard-working and affable stewards for continuing to give us the friendliest and most enjoyable festival there is.
