Mrs Duck wondered whether Hull uni had a folk club...it did in my time 72-75

Called the Round and held on Friday nights, it had an interesting mixed booking policy...trad, trad arr,singer song writers etc.

Personal Highlights were June Tabor, Swann Arcade and Vin Garbutt

I seem to remember we ran a one day festival, but with beer at 12p a pint I'm not sure!!

And you could always go to the Blue Bell for the rest of the weekend

Hull was pretty good for music all round...Wings did one of their first secret gigs there, and I remember Reg Presley having a pady when somebody ran off with his ocarina....
