Heinz Endowment, which was founded in 1986, the Heinz Endowments is among the largest independent philanthropic organizations in the United States, awarding approximately $60 million in grants to nonprofits each year. The endowments grantmaking focus is on arts and culture; children, youth, and families; education; the environment; and the innovation economy.
