Well, one thing is for sure... The current paradyme is not working... The US's military can beat any conventional militray in the world... Problem is that there aren't any "conventional militaries" that want to take the US on...

No, what Bush and his neocons have missed is that the "War on Terrorism" cannot be won with military might... It can only be won, like the Cold War, with our ideolgies prevailing over those of the other side... This is what happened in the Cold War and this is what needs to happen in the "War on Terrorism"...

The US needs to stand strong on what it *** believes***, it's core principles of fairness and justice... Secret courts, torture, rendering, militarizations, suspension of civil rights, aren't going to win this battle... No, might of fact, these things are going to loose this battle, an perhaps the war...

We need to stand tall... We need to tell the better story... We need to have both understanding and compassion...

The current paradyme is a loosing one... It will only insure and endless conflict... It is downright stupid!!!

You will never impose peace at the nd of a barrel...
