I had a great day - when I eventually reached Whitby (2.5 hours)! Traffic and Bank Holiday road works (!!!) around Scarborough caused me and Linda to take a scenic landscape route around the hamlet of Silpho. Thank goodness Linda knew the area.
Thank you Whitby. We made it to singarounds in The Station and Endeavour, met loads of happy smiling friends and obviously missed loads of others! Hope you all had as good a time.

I brought the sunshine back from Spain specially for you - it will hopefully hang around for a while now!

We enjoyed the concert up at the Met before heading home, later than planned - and in better time southbound (1.25 hours).
Now to prepare for Hull Maritime Festival - Sea Fever 1 - 2 Sep!
