In days gone by, when his legs were much younger
Alan would cycle the festival round
With a new knee replaced and WD40
A new lease of life "Young" Alan has found

It's around and around and around now goes Alan
No creaking and groaning his new knee's just fine
When his other knees done things will be so much better
No more going in Circles he'll walk a straight line

But just for the moment some transport is needed
A motorised wheelchair to get round the town
His concertina at all times upon his lap sitting
To blow up the tyres, in case they go down
