Some archeologists believe that the stone paintings of Kokipelli which are often associated with what many believe to be lighning bolts are actually being misread. The "lightning" these forward thinkers believe, is actually a representation of stairsteps - and "kokipelli" (usually portrayed with a huge erection) is a corruption of "caught on belly" - obviosuly a euphimism.
