Let's face it Wes, we just love that deep fried, uh........well, anything! Attending any county fair in Ohio will assure you of access to a range of deep fried veggies from asparagus to zuchini (literally). Then there are things for the more refined fat fried gourmet such as deep fried cheese, pickles, or ice cream....not to mention just plain bread and PBJ's too! And if you're talkin' funnel cakes you have to have a Dumbo Ear too.

I have often said that if you battered up some dog crap and threw it in the fat, somebody would eat it. I don't know what drives this strange compulsion but gawd knows we seem to have it bad in the Buckeye state.
