Thread Name: Not-So-Good Lines in Songs
Subject: RE: Not-So-Good Lines in Songs
Much as I love Leonard Cohen's song "Hallelujah," he does have a few groaner lines in that song, e.g.,

[Now maybe there's a God above
but all I ever learned from love
Is how to shoot somebody who outdrew ya
..." - with that last bit being a rhyme for "Hallelujah."

And, of course, this next one not only stretches the rhyme but is rife with double-entendre - which I really don't think was intentional:

"There was a time you let me know
What's really going on below,
but now you never show it to me, do ya?
... "
