God, it breaks my heart to learn that, during the 3 years I spent in Toronto in the early '70s, frustrated by not knowing how to connect with other folkies there, Rick was there right under my nose, so to speak.   I'll always wonder how different my life's path might have been had I made such a connection back then.   But I'm fortunate to have "met" Rick, if only online, before his passing and to still have his wonderful music to enrich my life.

I think my favorite Rick Fielding song is "When We Gather Once More," but "'Sing With The Angels" also has special significance and is a close second.
