Meow ... Thanks for posting the correct version of this song.

Katrina .... Here are the chords ... You might have to transpose them or use a capo to adjust to your vocal key .

You alternate between Em and C thoughout the first verse and for the dip dip and swing and boom diddy-ah-da, boom-diddy-ah-da, boom-diddy-ah-da, bo-oo-oom part .

This is the traditional way to sing the song but with some added dip dip and swings , which round out the song nicely .

LAND OF THE SILVER BIRCH

Em          C
My paddle's keen and bright
Em            C
Flashing with silver
Em          C
Follow the wild goose flight
Em          C
Dip, dip and swing
Em          C
Dip, dip and swing her back
Em            C
Flashing with silver
Em            C
Swift as the wild goose flies
Em          C
Dip, dip and swing

Em          C
Land of the silver birch
Em          C
Home of the beaver
Am             G
Where still the mighty moose
F          G
Wanders at will

Am            G
Blue lake and rocky shore
F      G
I will return once more
Em          C
Dip dip and swing
Em          C
Dip dip and swing
Em                C                Em                C
Boom-diddy-ah-da, Boom-diddy-ah-da, Boom-diddy-ah-da, bo-oo-oom

I like to repeat the refrain as written ( land of the silver birch verse ) and then return to the first verse ( My paddle's keen and bright ) to end the song , as it returns again to the beginning melody and gives the song a more finished sound ...You can also add several dip dip and swings and boom -diddy-ahda's to end the song .
