Well its sad, but certain names, when young, do tend to make you a target, but there are exceptions. When I was in elementary school, everyone seemed to refer to each other by their last names, always with what seemed, an edge of contempt. Except for one of my fellow students, Dennis. Dennis always got called by his first name. His last name was Mycock.
