Dave, We were just in Manitowoc for a week---staying with Crol's brother and his wife. They came down here to Peru and drove us and my chair to and fro. And for 3 days I sat and schmoozed with Fritz and Mary in their "Golden Ring Music And Folklore Center!" What a treat it was now that I'm not around the music to any extent. Check with Fritz; we might be up to doing it again next year.

Jean, I think I first met you in either Rockford, Illinois or maybe La Crosse, Wisconsin---the Great River Folk Festival. (Maybe a time it rained and the festival was brought indoors.) You did the opening concert I seem to trecall!?

Or was it at the Quiet Knight folk club in Chicago---in the 1970s?

Also on the bill for that banefit for Michael Cooney was Steve Goodman, Cindy Mangsen, and a guy named Pete Seeger. Just us 4.
