The corruption that is being aired now, and has been over the past few years by the tribunals, concerns mainly a clique of Fianna Failers and developers centred around Charles Haughey (RIP) and Liam Lawlor (RIP), also the PR man Frank Dunlop, along with that ex-Fine Gaeler whose name escapes me now. I'm not aware of other scandalous carry-on (which doesn't mean it isn't there!).
